Story

As a young student-athlete, I had dreams that Basketball would take me around the world. That slowly faded when I lost my hearing in high school. I began to wear hearing aids and it changed the course of my life — I had to adjust and improvise in ways that have now made me stronger.

I've always been of service to others and have been doing hair since the tender age of 9. Through my hair clients I was able to meet and interact with several artists that all had one thing in common: they were marginalized, yet passionate about their dreams.

Through hard work, dedication, and creativity, I've been able to thrive. With determination, resilience, and a supportive community, I've overcome obstacles and achieved success in entrepreneurship.
